Frugal living and you Are beautiful

Hi Everyone

I’ve just been away for a few days at a women’s conference run by Hillsong here is Sydney called Colour Conference. If you would like to watch on line here is a link for next weeks conference

Link here – colour conference no 2

What a delight to sit with over 15000 women from around Australia and some from overseas and hear the word of God. I was truly blessed by a dear friend as she had organised to take us both to the city and we stayed in a lovely hotel across the road. I didn’t pay for anything. Oops I did shout us two chocolate sundaes from McDonalds after dinner on Friday night.

We don’t attend Hillsong church (my husband pastors at other church)but its only about 20minutes from where we live.

Anyway back on track I wanted to share another Pinterest post I found

Here is the link – Fake it frugal

They have heaps of great ideas to save money.

Fake Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookies:

1 Cup Flour
1/4 Cup White Sugar*
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar*
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3/4 Cup Chocolate Chips

*i made these and feel I need to cut back in the sugar.

Mix together and store in a quart size ziplock bag. Write instructions on the bag to add: 1 Stick Softened Butter (Aussie ladies see below for grams) 1 Large Egg, 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract. Mix & Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes.

1 stick of butter = 113.5 gr or 1/4 pound or 4 ounce or 1/2 cup or 8 tablespoons or 14 teaspoons and also remember that 1 lb = 454 grams

There are a lot more great pre mixes on the above link.

Until next time
love Sam & please remember
