UPDATED MARCH 2019

Sam here, just a quick update as there have been a lot of changes around here.

Firstly, our boys are now almost 21 & 18, we now are living in Ipswich, Qld. It’s about a 40 min drive Brisbane.

We no longer have Lily and Toby with us due to old, but I’m so happy to tell you all we have Anika (10y old German Shepard rescue dog) and Daisy (5y old Rotti mix another rescue dog)

I’m planning on starting to be frugal again, try and grow some veggies and maybe some small fruit trees at our new home.

So hang around and over the coming weeks and months I will be sharing what I’ve been up to.

God Bless

…………………………………………………………………….

Hi my name is Samantha, please call me Sam all my friends do.

I’m happily married to Pete with two amazing boys 19 & 16. We are a Christian family and we are both very active in our home church.

We live on the outskirts of Sydney Australia in a rental property which is on a small plot of land.

We have one dog Lily, one cat Toby.

What is my blog about……

I’ve been on a journey of trying to find ways to simplfier both my live and my family’s. Pete works very long hours 6days a week with some flexibility. Boys being boys at this age don’t really do all that much to help but I’m hoping that as they enjoy the fruits of my labour will want to help.

As Im very new to this (both blogging and simple living) my blogs can be a bit all over the place. But please stay with me as I work this all out.

How did I come to this…I was googling away trying to find ideas that are by people in Australia came across Rhonda Hetzel blog and went straight out and bought her book.

Down to Earth – a guide to a simple living.

So I hope you all enjoy my prattle and if you have any questions or ideas you would like me to share please drop my a comment.

Keep in touch

  1. Hi Sam,
Bogging about your journey of simple living is a great way to keep inspired and to connect with others on similar journeys. I have been simplifying my life for a few years now, and am enjoying the fruits of it on a daily basis now. It will become a way of life, and I wonder now how and why I lived any other way…

I am a fan of Rhonda, and have purchased her book, and one for my Mum too!
